Mr Yuen Soon
Mr Yuen Soon Consultant General, Oesophago-Gastric and Laparoscopic Surgeon at the Royal Surrey County Hospital, qualified from Charing Cross Westminster Medical School, University of London in 1991.
Mr Soon specialises in diseases of the oesophagus and stomach, including cancer and complex benign conditions. He is also an advanced laparoscopic practitioner using these skills to perform complex operations.
He is currently one of the pioneers of single port laparoscopic surgery where he uses only one keyhole to perform hernia, gallbladder and some stomach operations.
Mr Soon teaches his technique of single incision surgery (or LESS=laparoendoscopic single site surgery) around the world.
